Flower farm and Saturday stand
Flowers cut the morning you come for them.
Lanternmead is a small field and a smaller stand. Three bouquets, cut at dawn, wrapped while they are still cold. Nothing is shipped.

A hand-tied mix for a kitchen table. About a dozen to fifteen stems, wrapped in kraft.

The short version
A rented strip of ground, past the last house.
Ada and Jules planted the first dahlias because the soil held water and the light stayed late. The stand began as a table and a cash box. It is still mostly that, with a better shed and a green door.
They cut on Friday at dawn, write the board, and sell on Saturday until the buckets are empty or the clock says one.

Follow Cinderpath until the pavement gives up. The stand is the shed on the left, just past the cosmos.
